Reports... LayoutsA layout is a way of formatting data from OpenBiblio for use outside of OpenBiblio. Usually, layouts format data for printing, but layouts can be designed to put data into a format like MARC or RSS. For every report there is a layout that produces a simple list of the report results in the PDF file format. Access this layout with the link titled "Print list" in the menu area. The menu will also show links for additional layouts, if these are defined for a report. Examples are layout "Labels" for the Copy Search report and layout Overdue Letters for the Over Due Member List. Firefox 19 introduces an issue with printing PDF layouts: the built-in PDF viewer displays barcodes as text characters enclosed by asterisk signs (*) instead of actual barcodes that can be recognized by a barcode scanner. Also alignment is wrong.
